Music
Most of my free time goes into listening to and making music. This page contains a collection of links and information related to my music projects.
Electronic Music
I produce electronic music rooted in house and techno, influenced by ambient, experimental, and leftfield sounds. I also run a label called Silva Electronics, which focuses on underground electronic music that is fresh, unique, and outside mainstream and commercial norms. Many of the artists involved are friends and collaborators.
Below are selected links related to my music. This is not a complete list, but it highlights some key projects and releases.

Drumming
In addition to electronic music, I play drum kit. I started as a kid with about a year of lessons, then kept playing through my teens, mostly in crust and street punk and metal bands focused on d-beat. When I moved to San Francisco, I took a long break from drums due to space and volume constraints and shifted my focus to electronic production.
After moving to New York, I picked up an electronic kit and started spending a lot of time in jazz clubs and music venues. That pulled me back into the instrument and into making music with physical instruments instead of only DAWs and synths. I have been studying jazz drumming intensively with private instruction since, and I also play more straightforward rock-inspired styles with friends and in my own projects.
I now have a dedicated studio space with an acoustic kit where I practice regularly with friends and on my own.
I am putting together a list of drum-related projects, so check back later.
