My Personal Website

Hello,

I’m launching this site to share projects, hobbies, and occasional life updates.

When I first got into the internet in the early 2000s, people had odd, fun, and unique personal sites and message boards. A lot of them lived on places like GeoCities, Angelfire and LiveJournal, or were tucked away on tiny personal domains. You’d find a “links” page full of friends’ sites, a guestbook, maybe a hit counter, GIFs and a layout that was clearly made by a human experimenting. Each site looked and felt entirely different, and you learned something about the person or community because they owned and built the space.

These days, it feels like a lot of online interaction happens through a small handful of giant corporate platforms. That centralization is a bummer (and sometimes dystopian). We lost something when everything moved into uniform profiles.

That’s what inspired me to create an independent website. You can expect short write-ups on projects and experiments, notes on tools I use and things I learn, and occasional life updates.

This site is built with Next.js, mostly "vibe coded" and hosted on Vercel. I’ll keep shipping small improvements as I go. There’s also an RSS feed if you’d like updates.
